Our Land Registry and Cadastre Program accepted its first students in the 2019-2020 academic year.
The aim of our program is to train knowledgeable and talented technical personnel needed in the public and private sectors in the field of maps, land registry and cadastre, suitable for the needs of the day.
Land registry and cadastre programs in our country are associate degree programs that have more intense legal courses than the map and cadastre programs that have a similar curriculum. Parallel to this, in our university, besides surveying-cartography technical courses, an education mainly on land registry-cadastre, zoning and urban law is given. Our students graduate with the title of "technician".
Graduates of the land registry and cadastre program have wide employment opportunities in the public and private sectors: Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications and other relevant ministries, General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, General Directorate of Iller Bank, General Directorate of DSI, They can be employed in mapping, planning and construction companies in the private sector, as well as in public institutions such as the General Directorate of Highways and provincial organizations, and the development and science departments of provincial and district municipalities.
If our graduates are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) organized by ÖSYM, they can transfer to the map engineering departments of universities and other related undergraduate programs approved by YÖK.
